Congratulations to the first ever John Stark Bass Fishing team. The first New Hampshire High School Bass Fishing Championship was held yesterday on Lake Winnipesaukee. There were 56 teams representing 41 high schools competing in the event. The team of Tyler Keim and Tyler Spiers finished 11th with a weight of 10.02 lbs. The team was one big bite away from cracking the top three. The team of Zach Gagnon and Matt Richard finished an impressive third in the event. They were recognized with bronze medals for their top finish. They were also awarded gold medals for catching the largest Largemouth Bass of the event at four lbs. A big thanks needs to go out to Doug Hume who was the coach and organizer for the team. In addition he was part of the committee that organized this event for the entire state.
